Three boys could be responsible to pay for the removal of graffiti on several Kennewick buildings after police say they may be responsible.

Officers say around 2:55 a.m. they caught three boys after a short chase, who had just been painting graffiti on multiple buildings in the area of Keeyadin Park. Officers say paint was found on their hands, clothing and backpack. Officers also say similar drawings on the buildings were found in a notebook the boys had.

Police say there has been a rash of similar vandalism in downtown Kennewick and investigators are working to see if these cases are connected. The boys may have to pay for the removal of the graffiti.
