Kennewick man dies in motorcycle crash

KIMBERLY, Ore.-- A Kennewick man has died in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Grant County, Oregon.

Oregon State Police, say the incident happened Saturday at about 4:00 p.m. on Highway 402 near milepost 2.

Investigators say a Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Robert Julian, 63, Kennewick, was northbound on Hwy 402 when it left the road, traveled down an embankment, and into the John Day River.

Julian was pulled from the river by his riding companions.  John Day and Monument ambulance personnel attempted lifesaving efforts but Julian died from his injuries.

Oregon State Police was assisted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and ODOT.
