Kennewick man arrested on child molestation charges

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Kennewick Police say they've arrested a man as part of an investigation into allegations of child molestation.

According to a press release, officers responded to a report of alleged inappropriate touching of a juvenile girl on April 10, 2020. Investigators say the girl knew the suspect, identified as Luis Morales-Hernandez, 33, but the two were not related.

While investigating, detectives with theCriminal Investigations Division determined that there was another, younger, alleged victim as well. 

A certified child interviewer with Kids Haven interviewed both victims as part of the investigation.

On April 23, 2020, Morales-Hernandez was arrested and booked at the Benton County Jail on a charge of Child Molestation.
