PASCO, Wash.-- A Kennewick man is in custody in connection with a shooting from December that left another man critically injured.

Pasco Police say Joshua Anthony Welch, 25, is suspected of firing several shots, hitting a 28-year old man in the head during an alleged drug deal in the 800 block of W. Ruby on December 10, 2019.

The victim arrived at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco by a private car, and was ultimately taken to Spokane for treatment, and is still there recovering.

Investigators say it wasn't until last week that the victim was able to name and identify the man who had shot him.
