Irrigon man stabbed, deputies searching for second victim

Morrow County Sheriff's Deputies and Boardman Police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday night that left at least one person injured.

Two men were reportedly fighting in the street near Highway 730 in Irrigon around 7:50 p.m. Deputies say 39-year-old Jeffrey Kelly of Irrigon ended up getting stabbed and taken to an area hospital.

Deputies say the suspect, Joel Rodriguez, 31, was later arrested and faces charges of assault IV, Unlawful use of a weapon. His bail has been set at $275,000.

Authorities believe there could be another victim, possibly a man who left the scene before police arrived, who is now unaccounted for. Officers are asking anyone with information to call police.
