Voters will have a chance to decide on six different initiatives on the November ballot.

But according to new Elway Research figures, only three would have enough support to pass today.

Measures increasing the penalty for consumer fraud, temporarily preventing access to firearms to at-risk people and increasing the state minimum wage all have over 50% approval.

Campaign spending, campaign finance and Carbon Tax initiatives all polling under 50% support.

The poll states that ballot measures tend to lose ground from summer to fall, so it is best if they are over 60%. The numbers show that of 83 ballots The Elway Poll has tracked over the past 24 years,  56 of them (67%) have lost support from the start to the end of the campaign. Although it doesn't always mean defeat, some of the initiatives have gone on to gain more support and pass in the fall.
