It is a night of debates as NewsRadio610KONA airs the first presidential debate tonight live at 6 p.m. as Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton square off, coverage begins at 5 p.m.  Each debate lasts 90 minutes and will be held over the next few weeks. The candidates will spend a half-hour each on three broad topics, including America’s direction, achieving prosperity, securing America.

The Washington State Gubernatorial Debate between Gov. Jay Inslee and Republican challenger Bill Bryant will start live at 8 p.m. following the Presidential Debate.

The debate schedule for the Washington Governor race is Mon., Sept 26, Seattle University, 8 p.m. and Wed., Oct 19, Columbia Basin College, 8 p.m.
