Dog dies in fire that destroys mobile home

A family pet is dead and a mobile home is a complete loss after it caught fire Wednesday morning.

Kittitas County Fire Sheriff's office says that crews responded to the fire around 1:33 a.m. and a majority of the trailer was on fire when units arrived. Firefighters say the trailer is a total loss and one dog inside did die in the fire.

The cause is under investigation by the Kittitas County Fire Marshal’s Office.
