Several train cars derailed in Finley just off Perkins Monday afternoon and spilled solid fertilizer.

Benton County firefighters say there is no concern to the public with the spill, no one is being evacuated and no one was hurt.

They are still investigating the cause of the crash of the Union Pacific train. Firefighters have notified the company and a representative has been sent out.

The Washington Department of Ecology will also be called out to help with the clean-up of about two tons of fertilizer that is believed to have spilled from the car. Firefighters estimate it may take several hours if not several days to remove the spill.
