Body found outside of Hermiston

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a body was found Friday afternoon outside of Hermiston.

The Sheriff's Office has not released any information about the body, but sources say passers-by found the body off of Highway 730 at the Sand Station Recreation Area.

Investigators have not said whether they're investigating the death as suspicious.
