Andrus Fire FEMA Funding

FEMA is approving funding to fight the Andrus Fire near Cheney. The money can be used for field camps, equipment, mobilization, and supplies. It also means nearly 780-thousand dollars will be available for wildfire mitigation after the fire to reduce flood risk and erosion caused by the fire. The Andrus Fire has burned 300 acres and is threatening homes, a school, communications sites, and infrastructure.
