UMATILLA, Ore.-- Oregon State Police are looking for information to help solve a hit and run collision that left one person dead in August 2019.

The crash happened on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at approximately 2:30 A.M. on Hwy 395 near mile post 4A.

Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to the area where they found a pedestrian, Antonia M. Cobarubias, 41, of Hermiston, who had been hit by a car.

Investigators say Cobarubias was pushing a shopping cart northbound when a car, believed to be a red Honda, struck the pedestrian from behind.

OSP believes the Honda is a 1996 to 2000 model, possibly a Civic model, with aftermarket features and effects, that lost a passenger side mirror in the crash.
