Moses Lake baby hawk gains social media attention during feeding time

A baby hawk is gaining a lot of attention during its feeding time.

The Pioneer Veterinary Clinic in Moses Lake posted a video of the abandoned bird eating his food with gusto and its gotten over 8,000 views and 115 shares.

The clinic says a community member found the abandoned bird and brought it to the vet. They say  on Thursday night, Dr. Maier was feeding the bird and they decided to take the video.

It is not the first time the clinic has helped out with a hawk, but it is unusual for the bird to want to eat the food.

This baby hawk is very healthy and within a week the clinic says it will be sent to a local rehabilitation center and eventually released into the wild.
