Ben Carson is listed on the Washington's presidential primary voters pamphlet, even though he suspend his presidential campaign in March.

Communication Director of the Secretary of State office, David Ammons says the state law requires candidates to submit a declaration to the state when they withdrawn, but Carson did not and was unable to be reached.

"We are actually going to ask the 2017 legislature to fix that glitch, so that the Secretary would have the same authority to compose the list and to whittle it down if people have indeed withdrawn," says Ammons.

He say any votes for Carson in the primary could potentially go to Donald Trump, who Carson has endorsed. He says it is too early to speculate if the amount of votes will matter. He said most likely the race will not be tight enough for it to matter if voters cast their vote for Carson.

The Washington ballots are set to be mailed May 6th. Ammons hopes people will take this chance to have their voices heard.
