Man rescued after fishing on Palouse River

A man fishing on the Palouse River had to be rescued after getting his boat stuck in a sand bar.

Officers say the 80-year-old from Idaho got stuck around 8 a.m.

He was found by Franklin County Sheriff's Office and Dive Rescue Friday night around midnight.

He was found in good health.
